Foodhub Appoints Former Order Up CCO Clive Thorpe to Lead ANZ Expansion
Sydney, Australia – Foodhub has appointed Clive Thorpe as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, as the global hospitality technology platform accelerates its expansion across the region.
The appointment comes at a time when hospitality operators are increasingly shifting toward direct ordering, integrated POS ecosystems, and greater control over customer data and margins — creating strong demand for more connected, partner-led technology solutions.
Thorpe brings more than 15 years of experience across hospitality technology, SaaS, marketplaces, fintech, and commercial leadership. He has led multiple high-growth initiatives, market expansion strategies, and transformation programs across both startup and enterprise environments.
Most notably, as Chief Commercial Officer at Order Up, Thorpe played a key role in scaling the business, expanding its market presence, and positioning the business for a successful acquisition — reinforcing his track record in scaling and realising enterprise value within the hospitality technology sector.
Prior to joining Foodhub, Thorpe spent time advising and building within the hospitality and guest commerce ecosystem through consultancy and startup ventures, focusing on guest engagement, ordering, payments, and revenue optimisation platforms.
Foodhub supports over 30,000 hospitality partners globally and provides an end-to-end technology ecosystem, including online ordering, POS, kiosks, delivery integrations, and customer engagement tools designed to help operators grow revenue while maintaining control of their customer relationships.
Ardian Mula, CEO of Foodhub, commented
“Clive brings a powerful combination of commercial leadership and deep hospitality technology experience. His track record in scaling businesses and delivering successful outcomes makes him the ideal person to lead our ANZ expansion.”
“ANZ is a key growth market for Foodhub, and we see a significant opportunity to support hospitality operators with a more integrated, partner-led technology approach. Clive’s experience and market insight will be instrumental as we continue to scale in the region.”
Clive Thorpe added
“Spending time back in the market recently, working closely with operators and partners, reinforced how much opportunity still exists to improve the technology stack supporting hospitality businesses.”
“What stood out with Foodhub was the breadth of the platform, the pace of innovation, and a leadership team with a clear long-term vision. This is more than just ordering — it’s a connected hospitality commerce ecosystem designed to help operators grow, operate more efficiently, and retain control of their customers.”
Thorpe will lead the ANZ business end-to-end, with responsibility for strategy, operations, and growth, as Foodhub accelerates its regional expansion.
Foodhub is actively expanding its partner network across Australia and New Zealand, working with hospitality groups seeking to modernise their technology stack and drive more direct customer engagement.
